The Makran Journal of Educational Research (MJER) strictly prohibits plagiarism to maintain academic integrity. Plagiarism includes copying text, data, or ideas without proper acknowledgment, including self-plagiarism. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software, and the similarity index must not exceed 15%, excluding properly cited content.

If plagiarism is detected:

  • Before acceptance: Minor cases require revision; major cases result in rejection.
  • After publication: Retracted articles are marked and removed from the journal’s archive, with notifications sent to the authors and institutions.

Authors must ensure originality, proper citation, and necessary permissions for third-party content. Reports of suspected plagiarism are investigated promptly.
