Abstract
Cultural competency in education is a key factor in fostering inclusive learning environments where diverse student populations feel respected, valued, and understood. This article explores the importance of cultural competence among educators and how it can positively impact the teaching and learning experience. It examines the integration of cultural diversity in curricula, instructional practices, and school policies. The article also identifies challenges faced by educators in developing cultural competence and offers practical strategies to overcome these obstacles. Drawing on empirical research and case studies from various educational settings in Pakistan, the paper presents insights into how cultural competency can bridge gaps in educational outcomes, enhance student engagement, and promote social harmony in multicultural classrooms.
